Now that schools and nurseries have closed, many of us are having to juggle work and family life. Many of us will understandably be feeling worried about how to keep ourselves and our children safe, occupied and happy during these unusual times.
This toolkit offers advice, activities and resources to help you support your family’s wellbeing throughout a period of self-isolation. If you are already struggling with your children’s behaviour, you might be justifiably anxious about an extended period in the house with your children. There are plenty of resources in the kit around working through such parenting challenges. Please first read the ‘About the Toolkit’ document and then download the resources that will be most useful for you.
Please also head to the Exeter Community Initiatives website for information on our response across the organisation’s other projects. Also ensure that you stay up to date with official government advice for parents and carers during the Covid-19 outbreak.
If you find these resources useful, please do share this page with friends and family, and with your local community. Please check back regularly for updates, and stay in touch on Facebook and Twitter.
